THE PROCESS
A straightforward path to the right broker.
We help facilitate an introduction. You decide whether the broker is right for your goals.
FOR SELLERS AND BUYERS
What happens after you submit?
Send the basics
Share the boat type, general location, and contact information. For buyers, include your preferred boat and price range.
Fit and availability
We review your inquiry and may ask follow-up questions. We explore whether a suitable broker is available and interested.
Make your own decision
If there's mutual interest, we can make an introduction. You and the broker discuss services, fees, timing, and any representation agreement.
TRANSPARENCY
Who does what?
Boat Broker Match introduces people to independent brokers. We do not act as the listing or selling broker merely by making an introduction.
- There is no charge to boat owners to submit an introduction request.
- Any brokerage commission or buyer-representation fee is discussed with the independent broker.
- Boat Broker Match may receive a fee from a participating broker when a referred transaction closes, where lawful.
- No sale price, timeline, introduction, or transaction is guaranteed.
Before you hire a broker
Discuss experience with your boat type, comparable-market evidence, marketing, communication, compensation, and contract terms. State licensing requirements vary.
